
March 27 (Thursday) – CIA Shop Club Shirts and Pictures
The CIA Shop Club shirts are in for members who ordered one. Students will be called out during 7th hour on Thursday, March 27, and given their shirts. Afterwards, the CIA Shop Club photo will be taken during 7th for the yearbook and for the CIA Shop Club sponsors. Students can change into their shirts in the shop bathrooms, and the picture will be taken in the shop.
For students who wanted to join the Shop Club but forgot to order a shirt, Mr. McMurry has a few extra shirts left. It will be first come, first serve.
March 28 (Friday) – Beta Club Pajama Day
The Senior Beta Club is hosting a Pajama Day for Junior/Senior High students and staff EVERY Friday in March! The next Pajama Day is on Friday, March 28. For $1.00, Jr/Sr High students and staff can wear their favorite pair of pajamas to school on Friday during the month of March! Beta members will be at both entrances on Friday mornings to take money and give stickers to those who are participating! All proceeds will go towards Beta Club’s trip to Nationals in June.

March 28 (Friday) -- Senior Personalities Google Form
Seniors - Please use the Google Form Mrs. Knutson sent out to vote for your senior personalities. You want to pick a different person for each one. Photos will be taken once the personalities are decided. This form will close next Friday, March 28th.
March 29 (Saturday) – FCA Presents Celebrations of Faith
Chaffee FCA Celebrations of Faith will be on Saturday, March 29, at 6:00 pm in the High School Gym. The main speaker is Nick Grassi with special guests Cooper Callis, Levi Kaelin, and SEMO football players. Music will be led by Clinton Walker. This is open to the public and free of charge. Invite your friends and family!

StuCo will be sponsoring a Hello Smiles Week on March 31-April 4.

What are senior ads? Senior ads are the perfect way to highlight your senior! It's a space in the yearbook just for your student — this is a rare opportunity to celebrate their passions, inspiring achievements and unique perspective in a BIG way. They’ll flip through the yearbook for years to come just to revisit your heartfelt ad.

Prom Invitations -- Prom invitations have been placed in the senior mailboxes. Juniors need to come see Mrs. Swinford to get your prom invite.
Prom Tickets -- Prom tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, March 11th through Thursday, April 10th. Cost is $40.00 per person or $80.00 per couple. Please see Mrs. Swinford to purchase your tickets.

Beta Club Service Competition Items Needed
The Senior Beta Club is headed to Nationals in Orlando, Florida, and they need your help! Students will be competing in a service competition to collect items for the area public schools. Any donations such as lanyards, stress balls, earbuds or monetary donations are being accepted!
Swimming Pool Cashiers and Lifeguards Applications
The Chaffee Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for cashiers and lifeguards for the swimming pool. If you are interested in being a lifeguard, please speak with Mrs. Mayberry about getting your certification. You can pick up an application at City Hall.

April 4 (Friday) – SEMO Future Teacher Day
SEMO is hosting Future Teacher Day Friday, April 4th. If any students in grades 10th or 11th is thinking about going into teaching, or any Senior is going to major in education. The agenda for the day is as follows:

April 12 (Saturday) – Jr/Sr Prom
Chaffee High School Junior/Senior Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 7:00-11:00 pm in the gym.
** Underclassmen that are under 90% attendance hours are not eligible to attend. This is an additional stipulation to accompany the grade requirements for attending prom.

Student Council – Egg My Yard – Order Deadline April 12 / Eggs delivered April 19
Leave the work to Chaffee Student Council! Your kids will wake up to a yard full of hidden eggs filled with candy and prizes. Eggs will be delivered on the night of Saturday, April 19, 2025.

The online payment option is NOW available through the TeacherEase parent portal! We hope this service will make it easier for you to make lunch payments as well as Chromebook insurance and shop fees.
** PLEASE DO NOT MAKE LUNCH DEPOSITS INTO TYLER-SIS OR PAYPAL -- The school district no longer uses those sites!
You can send check check or cash to the office or drop it in the red wooden box in the Activity Center or setup our new online payment option in TeacherEase.

Parking Regulations and Tags -- The 2024-2025 student parking regulations and tags are available from the main office. All students driving and utilizing the parking lots MUST have a parking tag visible from the front window. Parent signature is required and each tag is $3.00.
Chromebook Insurance -- Chromebook insurance is still available to purchase ($25.00 cash or check made out to Chaffee High School). See Ms. Mossman for details.
