CONGRATULATIONS CHS CONCERT BAND – EXEMPLARY RATING!
The CHS Concert Band performed at Scott City High School on March 4th as a part of the Missouri Small Schools Band Director Association Large Ensemble Festival. The CHS High School Band received an Exemplary Rating, or a 1, which is the highest rating possible.
The band is under the direction of Mr. Ben Moses.

CONGRATULATIONS CAILIN IKEMEIER, JESSE RIEGERT, EVE O’NEAL, AND ANNABELLE GOODHOLM WHO QUALIFIED FOR THE MISSOURI STATE SCIENCE FAIR!
Congratulations to Cailin Ikemeier, Jesse Riegert, Eve O’Neal, and Annabelle Goodholm who competed in the 2026 SEMO Regional Science Fair and qualified for the Missouri State Science Fair which will be held on April 15-16 at St. Charles Community College. These students are taught and supervised by Mrs. Dulcie Mayberry and Mr. Jacob Flick, Chaffee Jr/Sr High School Science Teachers.
~ Annabelle Goodholm and Eve O’Neal competed with a group project in Behavioral Science dealing with effects of volume of music on concentration.
~ Jesse Riegert competed in Behavioral Science dealing with effects of rate of breathing on exercise.
~ Cailin Ikemeier competed in Life/Environmental Science – natural water colors vs artificial water colors and effects on environment.

NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST WEEK IS MARCH 2-6!
National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance during the first week of March celebrates the National School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives students a great start every day.
We are grateful for our cafeteria staff who work tirelessly to prepare delicious meals for our students each day! We appreciate all that they do to keep our students fueled and ready to learn.

PEP BUS FOR GIRLS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!
We will be taking a PEP Bus for the Girls’ District Championship Game on Friday, February 27.
There is a Sign-Up Sheet in the CHS office.
The bus will leave at 4:15 p.m.
If you ride the bus, you will have to ride it back as well.
Thanks to the Chaffee Athletic Booster Club any 7th-12th grader that rides the bus will have their admission paid by the Booster Club!

LADY DEVILS DISTRICT BASKETBALL UPDATE – DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON FEBRUARY 27
Lady Devils picked up the win against Greenville on Wednesday night (2/25/2026) with a score of 69-63.
This was Season Win Number 20!
The Lady Devils advance to the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME on Friday, February 27, at 6:00 pm and will take on the Malden Lady Green Wave.
Let’s pack the stands in Neelyville and cheer these Lady Devils on to a District Championship!

The CHS Science Showcase will take place on Sunday, March 1st, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the High School Activity Center. This is open to the public. Please come and join us to see what our science students have been working on.

BLOOD DRIVE - REMINDER - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25
Chaffee High School will be hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 25th, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. in the High School Activity Center.
Students who are interested in giving blood should schedule an appointment with Mr. Westrich or on the Red Cross App.
The community can schedule an appointment at RedCrossBlood.org or on the Red Cross App or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Walk-ins are welcome if appointments are available.
All units collected will help to save lives and help Chaffee High School students earn scholarships.
