The Varsity Rams host Caruthersville on September 11 at 7:00 p.m. Wear your Red, White and Blue and come support the Rams!
CES RED, WHITE, AND BLUE DRESS UP DAY ON SEPTEMBER 11
CES Dress Up Day on September 11, 2026, in honor of 9/11. We will have a Red, White, & Blue theme, and then for any students who want to wear a hat can pay $1 to their homeroom teacher. All the proceeds will go towards our Playground Fence Fund.
SOFTBALL GAME (SEPTEMBER 10) CANCELLED -- The Softball game today (September 10) at Saxony has been rained out and cancelled!
SOFTBALL GAME TIME UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 - 5:00 P.M.
Due to the heat & out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our student athletes and our opponents, we will begin the Lady Red Devils Softball game on September 9 (Home Game) with Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. Three JV innings will follow the varsity game. Good Luck Lady Devils!

The High School Softball game vs Notre Dame on Wednesday, September 2 (at Notre Dame) has been moved to 5:30 p.m. due to the heat. A JV game will follow the Varsity game. There will be no admission charge to the game.
The player bus departure time will be at 4:00 p.m.

The Scott City Rams with Chaffee travel to Liberty (Mountain View) on Friday night (8/28/26) for their first game of the 2026 Football Season. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5. Visitor seating is on the north end of the bleachers. We hope to see you there!

The first day of school for students is Monday, August 24.
It will be an early dismissal day, with classes being dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

Did you miss our tryouts in the spring to become a Chaffee Red Devil cheerleader? Well, here is another chance for you to tryout!
This is for Grades 7-12. Show up Monday-Thursday at 5:30 (August 24-27) in the high school gym to come and learn the material with us then on Thursday, August 27, you can have your tryout after that practice!

Fall Sports and Activities pictures (HS Softball, JH Football, JH Girls Basketball, and HS Band) will be on Tuesday, August 25. Individual, Group, and Senior Banner pictures for Fall Sports and Activities will be taken. Picture packet forms were sent home.

** Coach Horrell, Athletic Director, will run a bus at 1:10 to pick up 6th graders at the elementary that play JH girls Basketball or JH Football and then continue to St. Ambrose for any girl playing JH girls basketball if needed.
Coach Horrell will run the bus back to both schools at the conclusion of JH sports pictures.
