DISTRICT ENROLLMENT DAY - ELEMENTARY AND JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL - JULY 29, 2026 (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) IN THE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM
The Chaffee R-2 School District will hold District Enrollment Day on Wednesday, July 29, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the High School gym. Enrollment form packets have been mailed. Parents/guardians are asked to complete all of the information on each form and return completed forms during District Enrollment Day.
Cheekwood Studios will be taking school photos of students and staff for the new school year.
The Scott County Health Department will be available to give immunizations and KidSight Vision Screening and Dental Safari will be available.
Additional information will be sent out the week before District Enrollment Day.
REMINDER -- CHAFFEE ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT FUNDRAISER BLITZ NIGHT -- JULY 7 (TUESDAY)
The Chaffee Athletics Department Fundraiser Blitz Night will be on Tuesday, July 7th.
Student Athletes / Band Members -- Please Arrive at 3:45 p.m. in the High School Gym.
Students will get into groups to make one last effort to sell the discount cards in the community.
After students return, they can go to the gym lobby, where food and drink will be provided for them before they leave for the evening.
If a student athlete or band member is unable to attend, they need to bring their cards and the money they have collected so far to the gym during summer weights hours (7:45 to 9:30 a.m.) or stop by the Blitz Night to drop them off.
If they are on vacation, they must contact a coach or sponsor and let them know how many cards have been sold so the school has an accurate count to pay the company.
Please make every effort to attend!

CHS ATHLETIC CARD FUNDRAISER KICKOFF
MONDAY, JUNE 29, AT 9:30 A.M.
ALL ATHLETES FOR ALL SPORTS (GRADES 6-12) AND BAND MEMBERS NEED TO ATTEND THE ATHLETIC CARD FUNDRAISER KICKOFF
Student Athletes, Band Members, and Parents,
Our CHS Athletic Card Fundraiser kicks off on Monday, June 29, at 9:30 a.m. in the HS Gym. We need all student athletes for all sports (Grades 6-12) and all band members to attend so that they can pick up their cards to begin selling.
Students will have 9 days to sell the cards. We will conclude with our Blitz Night on July 7th in the HS Gym from 4:00-6:30 p.m. where the students will make one last effort to sell cards and are served dinner afterwards.
The cards will be $20 again this year.
Savings last a full year from August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027.

REMINDER -- GRADUATE DIPLOMA PACKET PICKUP STARTS ON FRIDAY, JUNE 5TH
Graduates will be able to pick up their diploma packets from the high school office starting on Friday, June 5th.
Please be prepared to pay all outstanding fees, turn in sports equipment, and Chromebook items if needed.
High School office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 5, 8, 9, 10, 11.
Beginning Friday, June 12th, HS office hours will be Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
REMINDER - PHYSICALS - JUNE 3, 2026
CHS Sports and Activities Physicals for students grades 6-12 will be Wednesday, June 3, from 8:00-11:00 a.m. in the high school gym.
Chaffee Family Care will be giving the physicals. The cost is: $25.00 (Cash or check). If you pay by check, please make the check out to Chaffee Family Care.
Parents - please have the paperwork (medical history portion and parent signatures) filled out and have students bring with them.

Summer Strength & Conditioning begins on Monday, June 1st.
Week 1 will be 2 “combine” tests each day in addition to 2 stations.
To maintain or surpass the recent successes – commit to skills, speed, and strength!
Make getting to Summer Offseason Strength and Conditioning and putting the work in with your teammates drive our team successes.
Monday, June 1st, we start with Pro Agility and Vertical Jump Testing.

CONGRATS CARLYANNE COSSOU - STATE TRACK & FIELD MEET!
Congratulations to Carlyanne Cossou – the 2026 Class 2 State Track & Field 100m hurdles State Champ and the 2026 Class 2 State Track & Field 300m hurdles State Champ.
Carlyanne won her second consecutive 100m hurdles Class 2 State Championship. Her PR time of 14.43 smashes her previous best of 14.77!
Carlyanne won her 2nd consecutive 300m hurdles Class 2 State Championship with a time of 44.43!
Carlyanne placed 4th in the Class 2 Triple Jump with a jump of 11.14m (36.6 feet). This is her third consecutive year placing in the top 4 in Triple Jump!
Carlyanne placed 9th in the 200m dash!
After three years of track and field, Carlyanne has 9 individual all-state honors with 4 individual state championships.
Congrats Carlyanne!
CONGRATS TY ATKINS - STATE TRACK & FIELD MEET!
Ty Atkins placed third in the Class 2 Missouri State Track & Field Meet in the Javelin with a throw of 52.22m (171.4 feet).
This concludes an incredible Track & Field season where Ty was Conference Champion, SEMO All-Division Champion, District Champion, All-Sectional, and All-State.

CONGRATS MAKENNA NIXON - STATE TRACK & FIELD MEET!
Makenna Nixon placed 14th in the Class 2 Missouri State Track & Field Meet in the High Jump at Jefferson City.
It concludes a fantastic season where Makenna was Conference Champ, All District, and Sectional Champ in the High Jump.
She also set a personal PR of 1.5m (5’0).
