BOYS BASKETBALL CONFERENCE MAKEUP GAME ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22 – Red Devils Boys Basketball will have a Conference makeup game vs Delta on Saturday, February 22, at Chaffee. The JV game will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the Varsity game will follow.
Chaffee R-2 will not be in session on Friday, Feb 21st. The city streets are still mainly covered and with extreme low temperatures expected overnight it is best to not try and get students or buses out. Stay Warm!

CHS BASKETBALL UPDATES FOR FEBRUARY 20 -- The HS Boys Basketball game at Woodland and the HS Girls home game vs St. Vincent have been CANCELED for Thursday, February 20. Also, there will be no practices on Thursday, February 20.

CHS BASKETBALL UPDATES FOR FEBRUARY 18 -- All High School Girls and Boys Basketball games have been CANCELLED for TONIGHT (Tuesday, February 18) due to weather. We will try and make up the Delta boys’ games as early as Friday if possible and are looking to add a girls’ game on Saturday.

Good afternoon! We are watching the weather for tomorrow (2/18) closely. As of 1:00 pm on the 17th we are planning to hold school tomorrow. With that in mind, we may need to dismiss early. Please plan ahead if that becomes necessary.

A Note from the Cheer Coaches: We will still have the Mini Cheer Clinic perform tonight (2/11/25). It will be for the boys’ game vs Perryville. It starts at 6:15 pm. We will cheer onstage for the first half of the game and perform at halftime. Make sure they wear the shirt that they were given last night at the clinic and black bottoms (shorts, skirt, or pants). They will be given their bow at the game. Please have the girls arrive no earlier than 5:45 pm. Thank you! UPDATE FOR CHS BASKETBALL (TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11) -- The HS Girls’ Basketball game vs Malden is still on for tonight (2/11/25). Game time is 5:00 pm. The HS Boys’ Basketball game (Varsity only) will now be against Perryville tonight (2/11/25). The game will begin after the Girls’ game. The Boys’ Basketball Senior Recognition Program will take place on the basketball court after the Girls’ game and before the Boys’ game. The parents/guardians of the Senior Boys’ basketball players should meet near the weight room hallway with Coach Horrell, CHS Athletic Director, at 6:00 p.m. regarding line up instructions. The Youth Cheer Night performance will be as planned. They will perform during halftime of the Varsity game.

JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL PARENT ENROLLMENT PRESENTATIONS ON FEBRUARY 13 -- There will be a Junior High and Senior High School Parent Enrollment Presentation on Thursday, February 13, in the High School Library. Parents with students entering 8th Grade are invited to attend the Parent Enrollment Presentation at 6:00 pm. // Parents with students entering Grades 9-12 are invited to attend the Parent Enrollment Presentation at 6:30 pm. The Parent Enrollment Presentations are for the parents of all incoming 8th-12th graders. Students do not need to attend.
